The short version

This site sets no tracking cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no pixel and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. If that changes we will say so here first.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that the site can recognise something on your next visit. Some are essential to a site working at all; most of the ones people worry about exist to follow visitors between sites.

What this site actually sets

Nothing, for an ordinary visitor. You can read every page, watch every video and send the enquiry form without a single cookie being stored.

WordPress, the software this site runs on, sets cookies only for people who log in to administer it — a session cookie to keep them signed in and a preference cookie for their editing screen. Those are strictly necessary, they apply only to the site’s own staff, and they are never set for a visitor.

Third parties

The typefaces the site is set in are served by Google Fonts, so your browser fetches those font files from Google when a page loads. Google does not set a cookie in doing this, but it does receive the request.

Some pages link out to content on Instagram and YouTube. Those links open in a new tab, and once you are on those sites their own cookie and privacy terms apply, not ours. Nothing from them is embedded in our pages, so nothing of theirs runs until you choose to follow a link.

Controlling cookies

Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has stored and delete them, and lets you block them entirely. Because this site does not depend on cookies, blocking them will not break anything here.
